Version 1.0.2: free replies and weekly Plus

This section applies when version 1.0.2 is installed. It describes an update prepared for App Review, not a released update. Earlier versions keep their existing offer. For 1.0.2, the terms below about requiring an account and subscription for all AI, monthly-only subscriptions and no free trial are replaced by this section; other terms remain unchanged.

New users receive three complete AI reply sets in Chats once, without an account or subscription. A completed set contains three reply options. Failed requests, requests needing more context and no-reply results do not use a free set. Consent is still required before each request. Other AI tools require eligible Plus or connected access.

A random device credential is stored in iOS Keychain to identify the free allowance. The server keeps a pseudonymous allowance identifier, completed-request markers and counters, without conversation text. These small records have no automatic time-based deletion and prevent duplicate free allowances. Ordinary sign-out, account deletion or reinstalling does not reset the allowance; device erasure or Keychain loss may affect access. The free allowance is not linked to an Apple sign-in account. Contact support for privacy or access requests.

Linekind Plus Weekly is an auto-renewing subscription: eligible subscribers receive three days free, then US $4.99 per week. Apple shows the local price and whether you qualify before confirmation. The trial automatically renews into a paid weekly subscription unless canceled through Apple; cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid renewal. The monthly option remains US $19.99 per month, with no trial. Existing monthly and legacy subscribers keep their terms.

Weekly Plus includes 100 completed sets in each verified subscription period, including the three-day trial, with a shared limit of 30 per UTC day. A trial period and a paid period are separate allowances; a trial is not a paid purchase. Unused sets do not roll over. Restoring or reinstalling does not add sets. Existing request-attempt limits remain. Manage or restore through My voice → Settings, and manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple settings. Deleting the app or Linekind account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Navigation for your app version

The instructions below use the version 1.0 labels: Studio, Saved and Your space.

In version 1.0.1, open Chats for replies, Profile Workshop and Conversation Coach, and Practice for guided or custom practice and rehearsal. Open Chats → View all for the saved library. Open My voice → Settings (the gear icon) for account, membership, app language, privacy, deletion and Connected workspace controls described under Your space. Writing styles and context cards are in My voice.

Need help with the app? Email jorge@cerostudios.net. English and Spanish are welcome. Include your device model, iOS version, Linekind version, and a short description of what happened. Remove personal details from any screenshot. Never send passwords, Apple sign-in codes, payment-card details, or someone else's private conversation.

Connected workspace and Share · Build 11

These steps apply when your installed app includes these features. Build 10 does not have the connected workspace or Share extension; its existing instructions and App Store plan below still apply.

Open Your space → Connected workspace, connect your web account and approve only the matching device code on Linekind’s website. Your web password stays on the website. Linking this iPhone membership is a separate choice. It verifies access without buying another subscription or adding usage. Apple access keeps its App Store allowance; eligible linked web access follows the web plan. Manage billing where you purchased it.

To save cloud copies, confirm and enable selected saving, then choose each item. Open a cloud item to review it before importing a new local copy. If it changed elsewhere, refresh and review the current version before retrying. An item too large for a native tool stays in the cloud unchanged.

Pause cloud saving keeps existing cloud copies. Remove individual cloud copies, or use Delete cloud copies & disable saving. This does not remove local copies. Disconnect this device revokes its web session; Remove the iPhone membership link removes shared access through that link. These controls do not cancel subscriptions or close your web account. Web account deletion is separate in the website’s account settings.

From another app’s Share menu, choose Linekind for selected text or up to five images. Review the text and save it to the device-local Shared inbox, then open Linekind to review the conversation and speakers. Nothing is sent to AI just by importing. If Linekind is absent from Share, check that this version includes the extension. Original screenshots are not uploaded.

Getting started with the tools

Linekind starts in English or Spanish based on your device language preferences. You can change it in Your space → App language.

In Studio, choose Profile Workshop for a bio, profile answer or text review, or Conversation Coach for a chat or unsent draft. Supply real details, review exactly what you will share, then consent before requesting AI output. You can choose English or Spanish output independently in these tools. For replies, import up to five screenshots or paste text, review it and identify speakers. Guided and custom practice let you write a response and request feedback. Copying a suggestion never marks it as sent.

To start with your own words, open Studio → Polish my draft. Write or paste your draft and add optional editing instructions. Add the conversation, or choose an opener or invitation and supply real details. Review the complete request and OpenAI disclosure before creating versions. You do not need an earlier AI-generated reply. Writing and editing locally use no generations.

Keep a conversation going

Open Saved and choose Continue. Add the message you actually sent if it is missing, then the other person's new message. Linekind does not assume that a suggestion you copied was sent. For an opener or invitation, you can start from a real detail or plan without inventing an incoming message. Refine starts from your edited draft; local editing and copying use no generations.

A reply needs more context

If a suggestion depends on a fact you haven't supplied, Linekind asks you to add it. Use the context field to provide that detail, then request the reply again. You do not need to share unnecessary personal information. If someone explicitly asked for no contact, the app may recommend respecting that request instead of supplying another message.

My subscription isn't showing

Use the same Apple purchase account and Linekind Apple sign-in you used when subscribing. In Your space, open Restore purchases and choose Restore on the subscription screen. If Apple still shows the subscription as active and access is unavailable, email support with the error text and app version. Do not email your Apple password or a sign-in code.

Cancel or request a refund

Open Your space → Manage subscription, or manage your Apple subscriptions. Deleting Linekind or your account does not cancel your subscription.

To request a refund, open Your space → Request a refund. If Linekind can verify your current purchase, it opens Apple's refund form. Apple reviews the request and decides the outcome; sending a request does not mean it has been approved. Closing the form without submitting does not request a refund.

For a different purchase, or if no current purchase can be verified, follow Apple's refund process.

Usage limits

All AI tools share 100 result sets per verified paid subscription period, up to 30 completed sets per UTC day: profiles, replies, rewrites, conversation reviews and practice feedback. One completed request uses one set, including all its options. Three alternatives or two processing passes still count as one. Generating again or requesting an AI rewrite uses another set. Manual editing, saving and copying use none.

Requests that fail on the server or ask for missing context do not use a result set. Conversation Coach guidance to respect a no-contact boundary also uses no result set. Unused sets do not carry over. A new allowance starts with each verified paid subscription period, not at the start of a calendar month. Restoring purchases, reinstalling or recreating an account does not add sets.

Existing subscribers on the earlier plan retain 300 successful generations per UTC calendar month, up to 30 per day. Their monthly allowance resets on the first day of the UTC month. They are not moved to the 100-set plan automatically.

Separate request limits are 60 per UTC day and 600 per UTC calendar month, including unsuccessful attempts. Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC. A reset does not itself renew subscription access. AI requests require an internet connection, a signed-in account, consent and a verified eligible subscription; temporary service or purchase-verification interruptions may affect availability.

Screenshot text recognition, local drafts, fictional examples and reading, editing, copying or favoriting saved work are free. Live AI generation and feedback require Plus.

When your allowance renews

Your space shows a dated balance when it is available. If the app cannot verify a current balance, it says so; an unavailable balance does not mean zero uses. A balance that has passed its daily, subscription-period or access boundary is hidden until there is a current observation.

When Apple reports that your subscription has expired, live AI tools require renewed, verified access. Your saved work and local drafting remain available. Use Your space → Manage subscription to check your subscription with Apple.

Delete my information

You can remove individual saved results or practice attempts. Removing a custom setup leaves its previous feedback available; delete those attempts separately if desired. Your space → Delete saved content clears saved replies, practice history, profile drafts/results, coaching drafts/results and custom setups. It does not cancel a subscription or erase independently retained provider records.

Your space → Delete my account requests removal of Linekind sessions, local history/preferences and the Apple authorization used by Linekind. It also requests removal of the RevenueCat customer profile and purchase history for this app across test and production records. If remote cleanup is pending, the app says so and retains a minimal request for retry; sign-in remains unavailable until processing finishes. Deletion does not erase Apple's financial records, immediately erase independent provider retention or cancel your Apple subscription. Manage that subscription separately in Apple settings.

Compact subscription-period, plan and usage records remain to prevent duplicate allowances after account recreation or purchase restoration. They do not contain your conversations, and currently have no automatic time-based deletion. See the privacy policy for details.

For further privacy requests, email the support address above.

An image or saved file could not be read

Retry a failed image, remove it or correct its text before combining the batch. If a limit is exceeded, edit the content; it is not silently truncated. If saved work cannot be opened, unlock the device and use Try opening again. If saving fails, keep the screen open and use Try saving again. Do not clear your history as a recovery step if you want to keep it.

Keeping practice feedback accurate

Saving a custom situation is local and free. Once a setup has feedback, Use as a new setup makes a separate situation so the old feedback stays with its original text. Removing a setup does not automatically remove its earlier attempts.
